Horseshoe Curve

We went to Pennsylvania for the train convention and got to Horseshoe Curve.....check that off the list. Paul could have stayed for days, just watching all of the traffic.  The fact that it was a lot of Norfolk Southern (his favorite) just made it all the better.
While Paul was doing convention activities, I went to the National Coverlet Museum in Bedford PA.  It was so lovely. The nicest and most informative man was the tour guide.  The coverlets were really nice and the museum is in an old school. After that I was able to visit downtown Bedford and even had a Lebanon Bologna sandwich for lunch in honor of my friend Becky. It was tasty.
On our way home, we went to Cleveland to visit Monica and her new puppy Sophie.  We rode the Cuyahoga Falls train with Louise and Owen. Owen loved watching the train speed on an app on Paul's phone.  Owen loves trains; he connected with Paul.  Actually Paul saw them the next day as he was watching trains in Berea. It was a great trip.
