"Why, ain't she purty." said by Chris when browsing the reading material in the bathroom. (If you know this house and the men that occupy this bathroom, it's a Black Angus magazine.)
Chris - "Grandma, what kind of toilet paper do you use?"
Caleb - "yeah, isn't it thick."
Chris - "It's like the hand of God wiping my butt."
Never a dull moment around here.

Second Generation National Honor Society

Caleb was inducted into the Chaminade chapter of the National Honor Society at his high school the other night. The induction was held in the chapel and it was very nice. It is not based solely on grades, but on character, leadership, and service. Anyone who knows Caleb, knows that he excels in all of these characteristics. We are so proud of him.

As you can see in the outside picture, he is wearing his new vest. It's just like his uncle and cousin have, and it is an early birthday present.

Who needs steak and lobster
We had read about it for years, had even driven by and seen it, but never experienced it. So this year we made our reservations and JUST DID IT! Yes, we had dinner at White Castle, complete with tablecloths, waiter service, and a great time. Nothing says love like a hot White Castle. Hope your Valentine's Day was spent with loved ones.
p.s. We mentioned your name, Missy, but were not given any special favors.
Surprise at Ball State
The stars were aligned and we were able to surprise Chris at Ball State University on Friday night. It was so good to see him. We were 2 of the 6 (yes, 6) members of the Raider fan club. We were small but mighty loud.
It was a memorable night for BSU, as they became the 2nd team to have 1000 wins. It was a shame they had to beat us to do it, but congratulations to them.
Chris shot his headband into the crowd and I was lucky enough to catch it.....though as sweaty as it was, I'm not sure it is was a good catch or a bad catch.
