Champion at all levels

Chris was on the MSOE team for the Preconstruction event at the ASC Student Competition in Reno. His team won and are the National Champs. That makes Chris a champ at all levels, starting with City-County in Soccer (he was younger then), State Volleyball Champ (3 times), Regional Champ for the ACS event, National Player of the Week for Volleyball, and now National Champ. Is President next?

Forgot, he also was the Geography Champ at grade school....not sure where that fits in.

Always, number 23 on the roster but number 1 in our hearts.

February mashup

It's been a crazy February for us...leading into a full March ahead. We celebrated our 22nd anniversary. Chris was home for an interview, so we did get a family picture. Paul got me a Fuji Instimax camera. The camera is really fun, and I took 2 pictures when we went out for Valentine's Day. (can't take too many because, as Paul says, "They are $1.00 each) I even scrapbooked them last night. Not usually that fast, but knew what I wanted and got it down.

I also got some stuff done at a great crop last week. Here is a page that I scraplifted and have been wanting to do forever.

Mom and I also took a fabulous class with Nancy W. at FKS. It was another bookbinding class---love them. It was so fun with great ideas. We also used a spray on the glitter paper that set the glitter and it stopped coming off on everything. Though, a little glitter behind the ear never hurt anyone.

All because we saw a game at Lambeau

Saw my first Super Bowl from start to finish in order to cheer on the Packers. What a great game! So glad of the outcome. Go Pack Go!

Blizzard 2011 - Part 1

Here is the current look outside. Who knows what we'll end up with....anywhere from 3-18 inches depending on what station you are listening to. Chili in the crockpot, laundry going (you never know if you might lose power),malt-o-meal for breakfast, and getting ready to play in my scrap area while watching some of my many Oprah episodes.
