Pictures to go with the list
This is a mini banner that I made using Jenni Bowlin small bingo cards. Mom had found the directions and we had the stuff. It was fast and super cute. Can't wait to try it with the birthday bingo cards.
Here is my little one working hard at the farm. He sure loves it down there. He's working with his steer for the fair and he learned how to read a tape measure thanks to Uncle Steve. I guess they don't teach that in school.
Mom and I had a day off while teaching in Lee's Summit and went to Paper Source. It was awesome and I loved their philosophy...even got a stamp that says this.

where o where has my time gone?????
I have lots that I want to get down in writing, but do need a picture to show what I finished this past weekend at a crop with my mom. So....here, in no particular order, is a randomness of what's been going on....pictures to come later......
- teaching baskets in Lee's Summit at Primitives of the Midwest
- cropping with friends
- contest at lss is FINALLY over, but that means sale is over too
- need to put away lots of purchases of late
- new bench on the front porch, complete with drink holding plant (Paul's description)
- caught up on Jon & Kate on the dvr
- YEAH!!!! America's Got Talent started last week...watched on Sat night with Mom & Paul
- Dayton road trip......pre-engineering camp for Caleb, scrapping & stitching for me with friends, air force museum for Paul
- Paul realizes that when with friends, sleep is secondary
- finished a great book, "Still Alice"
and finally.....why my mother isn't my friend on facebook (and she's not even on facebook), "I don't want her (me) to know what I'm doing all the time." I know my son (#1) will appreciate that.

The Good, the True, the Beautiful
My circle journal top this month was "The Good, the True, the Beautiful." I had a tough time with it, and therefore waited until the last minute (tonight). I remembered a group picture from a crop we went to around mom's birthday last September. We laughed so much and had a great time together. I realized how friends fit the topic and how friends can be good and true and add such beauty to your life.

Group hug spotted at Lincoln wedding
Traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska for my cousin's wedding. Had a great time....who knew that there were two awesome scrapbook stores in Lincoln! Here is me and my escort Caleb, my dad, and my brother and sister-in-law.
The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun. Learned a new dance, the Cupid Shuffle, so I'll need to find the song. Chris says that since they tell you what to do in the song, that it isn't such a big deal, but Tammy and I thought it was fun.
Now my aunts wanted a picture together, but my dad
got in the picture too, and a group hug followed. The aunt on the left is the mother of the groom.
I have to say, a good time was had by all.
I did get to hear a funny story from my dad. While driving home, we were talking about growing up. My dad has polio and wore braces when he was younger. He remembers a trip to Florida when he was about 7 or 8, and they were leaving very early in the morning. He took longer to get ready because of the braces, and he was afraid that they would leave him. So he slept in his braces.

Ears to you...
Caleb has surgery today, a tempano mastoidectomy. Our doctor is super and all went well. We appreciate all of the prayers and thoughts. Thought I'd post the before and after pictures.....

When told of the ear piece he'd be sporting after the surgery, Caleb said it sounded like a cone for a dog. Love the smiley face....surgery nurses are fun!
Also.....when you are tall and have BIG feet, beds are usually not accommodating.
