No, not World Wrestling Federation, though there is nothing wrong with The Rock and the Undertaker. I am talking about Words With Friends. It has taken over the world. I don't even care how my husband drives anymore, I am usually looking down at my phone trying to catch up on my games. ( I think he likes it that I am not grabbing the door anymore. ) I love to just read the words that have been played. This morning they are very funny.....here they are: hooch, beezer, calo, hated, toom, find, folk, sodas, exam, ban, hoe, zit, dove, yoked, pity, bustier, hob, tin, and evil. The rule in wwf is if it accepts, it works. Funny, even autocorrect didn't even like all of these words.

My heart runneth over with joy
Chris is coaching a boys 12 team for volleyball. We were lucky enough to go watch last weekend. As a mom, there are moments when you feel your heart swell.....this was one of those moments. He is wonderful with them. Love to hear them call "coach Chris." They seem so little....don't think he was ever that small. When he told one boy to tuck his shirt in, I just beamed. That, he learned from me. And they are a dance-y bunch.....saw the Raji and some shufflin. They played well...so glad we were able to see a tournament.
Oh....Chris even had highlighted the team schedule for me. Those were the good old days.

Weaving in Texas
I had the joy of attending the 1st Texas Basket Weavers Association convention in New Braunfels, Texas last weekend. I had two classes with Nate Taylor, an established shaker and Nantucket basket teacher. These were made out of Tiger Ash. I also did a VERY small basket (ash) as well as two colorful baskets (reed).
It was such a wonderful time; the best women of all, many that I had met last year and some were new friends to meet. Can't wait to take my baskets to the local guild next month.
card swap for December
Our first card was to use a die cut or embossing card and the second was a card inspired by the best movie the year of our high school graduation (1985 for me). My movie was Out of Africa. I have never seen the movie, but Africa reminds me of woman with umbrellas, hence the card with the man with the umbrella. It is a stretch, I know, by I do like the card. Hopefully will finish the cards for January this weekend. Maybe February too....but if that happens, might have to get lottery ticket.
