I had a "mom-date" with Chris on the Friday before he went back to school. We had errands to run, but were going to Pappy's Bar-b-que for lunch. We had never been there, but Chris had seen it on the food channel. When we got there, the line was out the door. The wait was not too long though, and the people in line with us were friendly. They had heard about Mom's Deli, so we were agreeing with them that they should try it and get the Mom's Special...the "only thing on the menu." Paul and I had stopped there before the Muny and he was going to look at the menu, but I told him he didn't need to. Chris agreed. While waiting for Chris to get refills as we were leaving, the owner and I were talking, he offered a camouflage hat for Chris. I didn't think he'd wear it, so I said no thanks, but I appreciated it. Silly me, I told Chris this later in the day and he was mad at me. He said that I was not allowed to make any decisions when it comes to food or food-related items for him. He said if we hadn't been so far away, he would have made me go back. So when he got home he emaile
