Paul and I went to Springdale, Arkansas to ride the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad on an excursion to Ft Smith, Arkansas. It was especially for rail fans, meaning that there were stops along the way where you could get off and get photos of the train in action. The first stop, we got off and the train backed up into the tunnel. On another stop, the train backed up over a bridge. You can see the people(mostly men) taking pictures. Their cameras would make a scrapbooker jealous. We were lucky and sat in the parlor car; we had a table and movable chairs. It was very comfortable. We sat near 3 other couples from a train club in southern Arkansas. They were very funny and enjoyable to spend the day with.
